April 26th - 27th, 2013: 4th Annual Batizado
Please join us once again for our annual batizado in Petaluma! Like last year, you can expect many great workshops and high energy rodas with folks from across the Bay Area and beyond. We will also be participating in the Butter and Eggs Day Parade again this year.
Workshop schedule:
Friday:
4-5pm: Kids workshop (Petaluma Ballet School)
5-6pm: open roda at Helen Putnam Plaza
6:30-8:30pm: Workshop at the Petaluma Ballet School
8:30-10pm: Roda (Petaluma Ballet School)
10pm: Potluck (Petaluma Ballet School)
Saturday:
9:30-10:30am: Yoga/Capoeira Workshop (Petaluma Ballet School)
10:45am-noon: Like last year, we will be participating in the Butter and Eggs Day Parade -- we would LOVE for you to join us! We line up at 10:45. Tell family and friends that they can watch you at 11:15am. We will open the parade!

3:30-4:30pm: Batizado ceremony (Petaluma Ballet School)
4:30-7:00: Roda (Petaluma Ballet School)

April 27th - 29th: 3rd Annual Batizado
Parabens to all who participated in Capoeira Azania's 3rd Annual Batizado, Encontro das Aguas, held on April 27th-29th, 2012. The weekend was full of great workshops, rodas, and good energy--and we won 2nd prize at the Butter and Eggs Day Parade with our Capoeira-thon...Thanks to all who came and supported.
